Arthur's crowning work, published in 2013 by the AMS. Using the stable trace formula and the Fundamental Lemma proved by Ngô Bảo Châu, Arthur completed the classification of automorphic representations for orthogonal and symplectic groups, proving central functoriality conjectures of the Langlands Program for classical groups.
