A team of nine mathematicians led by Dennis Gaitsgory and Sam Raskin published in 2024 a series of five preprints proving the Global Geometric Langlands Conjecture in its unramified version. The result closes one of the three great worlds of the Langlands Program — the geometric world — establishing a categorical equivalence between D-modules on the stack Bun_G and Ind-coherent singular coherent sheaves on the dual spectral stack. The preprints are currently under peer review.
