Constitution of Querétaro — Social Constitutionalism

After the Mexican Revolution, a Constituent Congress in Querétaro incorporates Articles 3, 27, and 123 (education, agrarian reform, labor rights) under pressure from excluded Villista and Zapatista factions. Promulgated February 5, 1917, it is the first constitution in the world to incorporate social rights, preceding Weimar and the Soviet constitution.
